The times listed on their schedule are in Greenwich Mean Time (UK time), but
the station is based in Costa Rica, Central America.

**WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service (30 minutes)
Wed: 2000/Sat: 2230- Topic: Winona LaDuke: "Indigenous Vision for the New
Millennium" Part I. LaDuke is an indigenous land rights activist from the
Anishanabe people, an environmentalist, the founder of the Indigenous
Women's Network, and, for the second time in 2000, a candidate for Vice
President of the United States, as running mate of Green Party candidate
Ralph Nader.
**UN RADIO'S "WOMEN" [14 minutes] - Wed: 2330/Fri: 1845- Topic: Trafficking
in women from Eastern Europe, Part I: causes and prevention efforts.
Other programs produced by women but not always about women that are on the
RFPI schedule include "TUC Radio" (produced by Maria Gilardin of San
Francisco) and "Steppin' Out of Babylon" (produced by Sue Supriano in
Berkeley, California).
